Tele2 walks the talk within Corporate Responsibility
Tele2 is not only good at talking sustainability and responsibility, according to a recent study we are also very good at living up to that talk.
In September, Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum) at the Stockholm School of Economics published its second edition of Walking the Talk – a report on the sustainability communication of the Nasdaq OMX Stockholm large cap index companies 2017. The report explores how Sweden's largest listed companies communicate their sustainability work. The report analyses what companies communicate: what they say that they will do, and what they say they have done within Sustainability/Corporate Responsibility (S/CR).
The last similar study was made in 2015 where Tele2 received a Talk point of 8 and a Walk point of 5 saying that we talked a little more than we took action. In 2017 we increased our score within both areas and received 13 points in both categories.
Ilse van der Haar, Director of Regulatory and CR, comments: "Tele2 can be very proud of this result. There is a lot of talking in the world of CR, but we will only get tangible results if we act. We are currently revisiting our CR strategy, which will bring even more focus to our actions, and hopefully lead to an even better score in the next study!"
