What will you be doing as a trainee at Tele2?
As a CTIO trainee, I will get an insight into how our IT and technology organization works and support the Head of Digital Capabilities & Technologies and the DCT Office. During the first couple of weeks, I will get to focus on different divisions such as IT, Networks and TV. I will also visit our server rooms and network sites and sit down with the network monitoring department. All to gain an understanding of the organization as a whole and build a network of contacts.
What attracted you to Tele2?
I like the brand, the culture and the challenging spirit that comes from Tele2's history. I was also attracted by the fact that Tele2 is a leader in sustainability. The industry is interesting and crucial to society. I believe the trainee program is one of the best in the country.
Which of our values - Reliable, Insight-driven and Collaborative - do you like best, and why?
Collaborative. It's much more fun to work when you're working as a team. For me, it is important to be unpretentious.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
To grow professionally and learn as much as possible about Tele2. Being a trainee gives you a unique opportunity to try many different things. The trainee program offers you a solid foundation to build on. When I'm more settled in the role, I'm looking forward to working on an exciting project and contributing my insights.
What are your plans for the future?
I would like to work on different areas at Tele2. During my first time here, I realized that there are many interesting opportunities to explore. In the long term, I would like to become a leader and make a positive contribution to different stakeholders, while striving to lead in sustainability.
