Ellen Wahlgren

B2C trainee

Ellen holds a Master's degree from Copenhagen Business School and worked at Pandora during her studies. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Lund University. Between her studies, Ellen worked in Luxembourg with IT-focused project management in the private banking sector. 

What will you do as a trainee at Tele2?

As a B2C trainee at Tele2, I will support the EVP Chief Commercial Officer and the B2C organization by preparing materials, participating in meetings, and following key strategic initiatives. My role will involve learning from and contributing to ongoing projects, providing support where needed, and gaining insights into the company’s strategic processes. In the spring, I will focus on specific projects that will allow me to apply my learning in more detail and make meaningful contributions to the team.

What made you apply to Tele2?

The opportunity to follow and learn from talented and smart colleagues. Telecoms is a mature industry that requires constant innovation to create customer value. As a B2C trainee, it is particularly exciting to see how we create these services with the customer in mind. We provide an essential service that many people take for granted, which gives me an even greater sense of purpose. With future opportunities on the horizon and challenges such as cyber threats, this makes it all very exciting and fun.

Which of our values - Reliable, Insight-driven and Collaborative - do you like best, and why?

I value being collaborative the most. At Tele2, collaboration is deeply ingrained in the culture, and it has made a significant impact on my experience as a new joiner. The willingness of everyone to help and work together truly stands out, making it a welcoming and supportive environment where this value shines through every interaction.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

Being challenged, trying new things and growing professionally. There is a lot going on in B2C and every opportunity to grow.

What are your plans for the future?

I am passionate about business development and strategy, especially in customer-centric projects. I want to work on innovative solutions that create value for the customer.
